mobile view not displaying
Hi Josh,
I have added anther template using the knowledge base article about mobile view. It doesn't appear to be displaying.
Can you please help with the slider?
Also on the larger screen version is there a way to make the slider narrower, as in, not so wide.
Many thanks,
Cathy

thanks
Also I noticed that the time stamp on the Google imported reviews is not the time stamp of when the review was created but perhaps when it was imported into
I'm actually only seeing the code for the desktop version on the page. Are you sure the mobile version is also on there? You would need to add another section.
To change the width you can use the margin settings for the section.
The date value for Google is inferred from the download date. Google doesn't list the exact date the review was left. It just says days ago or weeks ago. So the app has to assign a value based on that text.
Hi Josh,
Aaah, I have to add two sections. Okay, I did that. Now it is displaying on the mobile as a single item. Thanks for this.
However, now I have two headings displaying on both the mobile view as well as the desktop.
Unfortunately, when I toggle the margins as you have indicated nothing seems to happen.
Thanks very much for your help so far.
Cathy
I changed the css to reduce the width of the slider so I'm happy with the width now.
So, it is just the repeated headings.
Lastly Josh, do you think that at the end of the slider when it loops back to the beginning that other reviews could be displayed. Right now as it loops, the same reviews repeat despite having more than 20 reviews.
Thanks,
Cathy
Hey Cathy,
Just delete one of the headings, either from the desktop view or the mobile view.
The app currently doesn't have a way to load more reviews at the end. You can control the number of reviews by increasing the number of slides.
Ah if I remove the one from the mobile view then it works perfectly.
Thanks Josh!
